  4. The largest cash robbery of a bank was the Loomis Fargo bank robbery in 1997, in which $17.3 million was stolen from a regional office vault in Charlotte, NC. A inside job and the thieves were caught (so was 95% of the cash).
  5. Which city has had the most number of bank failures? It’s a shared honor – seven in Atlanta, GA and Chicago, IL.
