The incident occurred at Brazilian TAM airlines :
A fifty-year-old white woman, when going to her seat, saw that her seat was next to a black person.
Seeing the black person, the white woman called the air hostess.
"Whats the problem Madam?", the air hostess asked.
The woman said, "Cant you see, I have been given the seat next to a black man, I can not sit next to this black man. You will need to change my seat."
The black man felt terrible hearing this, but did not say anything.
"Would you please chill madam, although all of the economic class seat was full, I'll see what can be done" said the air hostess.
A while later the air hostess came out and said "Madam, in the economic class we do not have an empty seat.Our only empty seat in first class."Before the woman could say anything, the air hostess said,"Usually its against our policy to move someone from economy class to first class. But due to this incident , we will make an exception."
Then the air hostess looked at the black man and said, "Sir, please take your beg, we do not want you flight experience to be ruined by some one like her, so we are moving you to first class.Please follow me."
Hearing this the black man became happy and the passengers stood up clapping.
